This course will provide delegates with an in-depth understanding of the revisions to the format and content of the Standard requirements for Issue 8.  It is designed to equip delegates with the skills and knowledge to successfully implement the changes to the Standard on-site.

PRIOR KNOWLEDGE

Delegates should have read and reviewed a copy of the new BRC Global Standard Issue 8 before attending the course.  Available free of charge from the BRC Bookshop from August 2018.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

This course will provide delegates with details of the changes to the Standard for Issue 8, as well as a review of audit and protocol expectations to ensure the effectiveness and consistency of audits against the Standard.

 

COURSE CONTENT

  • Recognise the changes to the protocol of the Standard
  • Understand the changes to the existing requirements
  • Learn what to expect from the Food 8 Audit
  • Understand what sites need to do to implement the new requirements

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

On successful completion, delegates will have an in-depth understanding of the protocols and requirements of the BRC Food Issue 7 standard.  Delegates will also be able to identify any current weaknesses in their BRC Systems and upgrade these appropriately.

CERTIFICATION

Delegates successfully completing the course, including the examination will be awarded a BRC Certificate issued by the BRC.
