Industry Standards

Here are a few industry standards that businesses are adopting to continuously improve their sustainability.

For organisations committed to addressing their energy impact, conserving resources and improving the bottom line through efficient energy management, ISO 50001 is there to help. Designed to support organisations in all sectors, this international standard provides a practical way to considerably improve energy use, through the development of an energy management system (EnMS).
For organisations that are serious about improving employee safety, reducing workplace risks and creating better, safer working conditions, there’s ISO 45001. Employers have a moral and legal obligation to ensure the well-being of their employees. According to the International Labour Organisation, a staggering more than 7,600 people die from work-related accidents or diseases every single day. In our endeavour to be ever more sustainable, we believe protect the people we work with is a key element of good business practice
ISO 14001:2015 specifies the requirements for an environmental management system (EMS) that any organisation can utilise to enhance its environmental performance. This standard is intended for use by an organisation seeking to manage its environmental responsibilities in a systematic manner that contributes to the environmental pillar of sustainability. ISO 14001:2015 helps an organisation achieve and continuously improve the intended outcomes of its EMS, which provide value for the environment, the organisation itself and interested parties. Consistent with the organisation's environmental policy, the intended outcomes of an EMS include: · enhancement of environmental performance; · fulfilment of compliance obligations; · achievement of environmental objectives.
